14 members of al-Jolani’s forces killed in Tartous, Syria
According to sources within the Syrian opposition, 14 members of forces loyal to the group led by Abu Mohammad al-Jolani, a prominent figure in Syria's armed opposition, were reportedly killed in western Syria.
Sources close to the Syrian opposition reported that 14 members of the forces affiliated with “al-Jolani” group, the leader of the armed opposition in Syria, were killed in the west of the country.
Mohammad Abdul Rahman, a member of the government formed by al-Jolani in Syria, announced in a statement on Wednesday that 14 elements of the self-styled “Public Security Administration” under the command of the terrorist group Hayat Tahrir al-Sham were killed in an ambush in the suburbs of Tartous province, western Syria.
According to Pars Today, Abdul Rahman confirmed that 10 armed opposition members were also injured in the ambush, claiming that it was carried out by remnants of the former Syrian government.
Sources close to the Syrian opposition reported that 24 members of the self-styled “Public Security Administration” under the command of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham were killed or injured in Tartous province, western Syria, while cities in northern Syria witnessed widespread protests against the armed opposition in response to the desecration of an Alawite shrine.
According to Syrian sources, after the overthrow of Bashar al-Assad’s government, the activities of terrorist groups, including DAESH, have intensified in various parts of Syria. According to these sources, in the shadow of the silence of al-Jolani’s followers, terrorists are killing and kidnapping Syrian citizens.
