2018 Tehran Int’l Book Fair kicks off Today
The 31st Tehran International Book Fair started in Tehran’s Grand Musalla Prayers Ground on Tuesday.
The event got underway with the attendance of Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Abbas Salehi and Serbian Minister of Culture and Information Vladan Vukosavljević.
The event in an area covering 130.000 square meters is hosting 2050 domestic and 132 foreign publishers.
Serbia as special guest, Tunis as special city and publishers of Germany, China, Italy, Oman, Hungary, Austria, Russia and Iraq have participated in the event.
Tehran International Book Fair will be open to the public from Wednesday, May 2, and runs until May 12.
