22 ISIS (ISIL, IS, Daesh) terrorists have been killed by Turkish airstrikes and artillery fire during the ongoing counter-terror operation by the Turkish-backed Free Syrian Army (FSA) forces to liberate Syria’s al-Bab from the terror group elements, Turkish military said on Monday.
According to the military statement, Turkish forces destroyed 103 Daesh terrorist targets in Monday’s operation while Turkish jets pounded eight other Daesh targets including shelters, fire positions and a headquarter which belong to the terror group in Syria’s al-Bab, Bzagah and Tadi.
Turkish forces with FSA fighters launched the counter terror operation, named Operation Euphrates Shield, on Aug. 24 to clear Daesh terrorists from the Syrian towns.
Since the beginning of the operation, Daesh terror group has increased its terror attacks in Turkish cities, killing and wounding hundreds of innocent people and security officers.
