24 US Soldiers Injured in Coordinated Attacks on Bases in Iraq and Syria
In a recent development, the United States has acknowledged that twenty four of its soldiers were wounded in separate attacks on its occupation bases in Syria and Iraq. These attacks have raised tensions in the region and caused serious concern for US interests, potentially leading to a regional conflict.
According to information shared by the US Central Command with NBC News on Tuesday, the incidents took place over the past week. On October 18th, a drone strike targeted the al-Tanf military base in southeastern Syria, resulting in 20 soldiers being wounded. Simultaneously, Ain al-Assad Airbase in western Iraq was also attacked, leading to four additional injuries and material damage.
