6 terorists killed in a clash in northwestern Pakistan

In a significant development in Pakistan's northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, six terrorists were neutralized during an exchange of gunfire with security forces on Friday, according to a statement from the country's military.

Security forces carried out an intelligence-driven operation in North Waziristan district, targeting the reported presence of militants, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media division of the Pakistan army, stated. This information was reported by Xinhua.

Security forces have recovered weapons and ammunition from the deceased militants, who had been actively engaged in multiple operations against security personnel and had also been implicated in the deaths of civilians.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has announced that a clearance operation is currently underway aimed at eradicating any remaining terrorist elements in the vicinity.
