However, in the face of such aggression, the Palestinian resistance perseveres, responding to the occupation’s violence. Al-Qassam Brigades, the military arm of Hamas, carried out a significant operation in the Tal al-Zaatar area in the northern Gaza Strip, resulting in the deaths of 8 Israeli occupation soldiers, according to the Al-Qassam Brigades’ report. The operation, known as Al-Aqsa Flood, was launched by the resistance on October 7th as a direct response to the Israeli occupation’s violations in the occupied Palestinian territories.

Hamas military spox, Abu Obeida, stressed that Al-Qassam fighters on the ground continue to destroy vehicles and engage in escalating battles with the occupation, causing increasing losses to them.
“Since the beginning of the ground offensive, we have targeted 740 various military vehicles belonging to the occupation,” he added, “Our fighters have carried out more than 15 sniper operations and 12 direct confrontations with the occupation forces in the past week.”
In response, the Israeli occupation initiated a counter-offensive dubbed “Iron Swords,” unleashing a series of fierce raids on various areas within the Gaza Strip.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the death toll since the beginning of the aggression has now exceeded 20,000, including 8,000 children and 6,200 women. The number of injured has skyrocketed to over 52,600, further highlighting the catastrophic impact of the ongoing aggression.

IOF Admits 3 New Soldiers Killed in Battles in Northern Gaza
As the fierce battles continue, the Israeli occupation army recently confirmed the deaths of three more of its soldiers in the Gaza Strip. Sergeant Lavi Gehasi, only 19 years old and a fighter in the 931st Battalion of the Nahal Brigade, was killed in the northern Gaza battle. Lieutenant Yaakov Elian, a 20-year-old student at the Gavin Battalion of the Officers School, serving as a platoon commander at the Givati Air Base, also killed in the same clash.
Lieutenant Omri Shortz, 21 years old and a student at the Gavin Battalion of the Officers School, serving as a fighter in an umbrella patrol, was also killed in the northern Gaza encounter. With these the death toll for the Israeli occupation army has reached 469 since the Palestinian resistance launched Operation “Al-Aqsa Flood” on October 7th.
