Another Top Nusra Commander, Assassin of Syrian Children Killed in Aleppo
The Syrian army troops have killed one of the al-Nusra notorious commanders in Aleppo. This terrorist was known for his role in the killing of Syrian children in the region.
The al-Qaeda-affiliated al-Nusra confirmed on the terrorist group’s official page that Wael Haj Hossein, also known as Farouq al-Shami, was killed in Southern Aleppo.
The killed commander believed that al-Nusra must intensify killing of children in a bid to put the Syrian government and Bashar al-Assad under the pressure.
Reports said earlier today that the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) continued to advance against the terrorist groups in Northeastern Aleppo and forced them to retreat from more farms and villages in the region.
The Kurdish-led SDF fighters pushed the Takfiri terrorists back from the road connecting Manbij to Jarabulus and at least 20 farms near the Tishrin dam’s lake.
In the meantime, the villages of Khirbet al-Masi, Fares al-Saghir, Fares al-Kabir and Qirat al-Kabir East of Manbij were liberated in the SDF operation.
Spokesman for the Military Council of Manbij Sharfan Darvish announced on Monday that the ISIL has evacuated its members and their families living in Manbij and has carried out whatever they could take with them.
“The Manbij fighters have entered the town of Dadat located between Manbij and Jarabulus. At least 50 terrorists have thus far been killed in clashes with the SDF,” Darvish went on to say, FNA reported.
