Syrian Army restores Ramliyah in east Hama – Map update
The Syrian Arab Army’s 11th Tank Division, backed by the National Defense Forces (NDF), imposed full control over Ramiylah in the east Hama countryside this morning after losing the village to the Islamist rebels of Jabhat Al-Shamiya (Levantine Front) on Saturday night.
According to the media wing for the National Defense Forces, the government units seized Ramiylah and its nearby checkpoints after a violent series of firefights with Jabhat Al-Shamiya. With Ramiylah recaptured by the Syrian Armed Forces, the Islamist rebel offensive has officially ended in the eastern Hama countryside.
