Daesh Blocks Eastern Aleppo Neighborhood for 3rd Day, People Can not Leave
People wanting to leave the eastern neighborhoods of Aleppo city are being blocked from crossing through the safe corridors by the terrorist organizations for the third consecutive day since the humanitarian pause was announced; SANA reported.
SANA reporter in Aleppo city said no families have been able to leave the neighborhoods today as they are being prevented to exit by the terrorist groups operating in the area, in a bid to continue having locals used as human shields and as a propaganda to exploit the humanitarian situation in Aleppo.
As part of the humanitarian pause that was established in Aleppo city on Thursday morning, eight corridors were opened by the Syrian army in coordination with the Russian side to secure safe exit for civilians, wounded people and the militants who are willing to lay down arms.
Families who managed to cross and reach safe areas and points of the Syrian army affirmed that thousands of families had tried to leave the eastern neighborhoods via Bustan al-Qassr corridor but were prevented by the terrorists who opened fire to disperse them.
