Militants in 4 More Towns End Fight with Syrian Gov’t
Militants in four more towns have laid down arms and joined the reconciliation plan with the Syrian government in the last 24 hours, the Russian Peace Coordination Center in Syria said on Monday.
The Russian Peace Coordination Center said, in a statement, that representatives of four towns in the provinces of Lattakia and Damascus have inked peace agreement with the Syrian government.
The total number of the cities, towns and villages that have joined the reconciliation process now stands at 840.
In a similar development, militant groups in four other towns laid down arms under the peace agreement with the government on Sunday.
