Terrorist ISIS relocated fighters from Iraq to capture Palmyra

A high-profile Iraqi army officers had told Al-Maalomah News that ISIS withdrew many of its fighters from Anbar province in Iraq to Syria so that they could recapture the historic city of Palmyra.

A “large number” of the terrorist forces withdrew from the towns of Rawa and al-Qaem so that they could engage Syrian and Russian forces. The reason for the relocation according to the officer was because of the “severe human losses” that ISIS have had in Syria.

It is expected that Syrian forces will rapidly engage ISIS again to swiftly recapture Palmyra.
