VIDEO: Syrian troops inflicting heavy damage on ISIL defenses in Homs

The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) inflicted heavy damage on the self-proclaimed Islamic State (IS; formerly ISIS/ISIL), reportedly killing at least 20 IS fighters and damaging several of their vehicles, near Homs on Friday.

The latest offensive of the SAA reportedly resulted in major gains of IS-held positions in eastern countryside of Homs, while also establishing control over the al-Mshairfeh quarry.
