Hamas slams Israeli cabinet meeting under Aqsa Mosque’s Western Wall
The Hamas Movement has strongly condemned the Israeli occupation government for holding its weekly cabinet meeting beneath al-Buraq or Western Wall of the Aqsa Mosque, describing it as “serious and provocative.”
In a press release on Sunday, Hamas spokesman Abdul-Latif Qanua said the holding of the cabinet meeting in underground tunnels under al-Buraq Wall area to discuss major Judaization projects in Occupied Jerusalem was a serious act of escalation and provocation of the Muslim nation.
Qanua also called it “a consequence of Trump’s visit that provided the green light for Israel to persist in its crimes and violations.”
The spokesman appealed to the governments of the Arab and Islamic states to assume their responsibilities towards such Israeli escalation.
