Syrian Air Force conducts strategic strike to destroy ISIL’s HQ in Homs
The Syrian Arab Air Force (SyAAF) carried out a strategic mission on Friday that targeted the Islamic State’s headquarters in the eastern countryside of the Homs Governorate.
Using information provided by local spies, the Syrian Air Force had direct coordinates of an Islamic State command-and-control center that was located inside the town of the Umm Al-Rish.
On Friday morning, the Syrian Air Force launched this airstrike in the eastern countryside of Homs, scoring a direct hit on the Islamic State’s HQ.
According to a military source in Homs, the Syrian Air Force destroyed the entire installation, killing all of the terrorists inside of the Islamic State’s command-and-control.
The source added that in the coming days, this airstrike will have a major impact on the Islamic State’s high command, as many leaders were located inside of this installation.
