Lebanese Army, Hezbollah control more than 90 percent of Arsal: map
The Lebanese Army and Hezbollah have captured almost all of the ‘Arsal Barrens after launching their field operations near the Syrian border last week.
Backed by the Syrian Arab Air Force (SyAAF), the Lebanese Army and Hezbollah captured over ten points in the ‘Arsal Barrens on Monday, forcing the jihadist rebels of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham to retreat to a small pocket near the Syrian border.
According to Hezbollah’s official media wing, their forces and the Lebanese Army are in control of more than 90 percent of the ‘Arsal Barrens.
With only a small portion of the ‘Arsal Barrens left under the control of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham, the Lebanese Army and Hezbollah could be in full control of this area by the end of the week.
