Syrian Army raises flag over long-time rebel stronghold in northern Homs
The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) has raised the flag of the Syrian Arab Republic over the strategic town of Al-Rastan in northern Homs tonight.
As shown in the video below, the Syrian military has raised the flag over the municipal building inside of Al-Rastan, which has long been a stronghold for the terrorists.
Recently, the last rebels in Al-Rastan were transported from northern Homs to the Idlib Governorate after they refused reconciliation terms with the Syrian government.
Al-Rastan was a long-time stronghold of the Free Syrian Army (FSA) and one of the first towns to fall to the aforementioned terrorist group in 2011.
