Massive march staged in Finland in honor of Gaza martyrs
Scores of pro-Palestine activists and local officials participated in a massive march in the Finnish capital, Helsinki, on Saturday in honor of the memory of the Palestinian protesters who were massacred by Israel in Gaza on the 70th anniversary of the Palestine Nakba.
Officials from the Palestinian embassy in Finland, Finnish lawmakers, representatives of several local organizations as well as local citizens and Palestinians living in the country were among those who participated in the march.
The participants marched from downtown Helsinki to the Finish Parliament, where roses were placed outside in honor of the Gaza martyrs.
They also chanted slogans in support of the Palestinian people and calling for ending the Israeli occupation of Palestine.
