Funeral ceremony for martyred border guard held in northeastern Iran
The funeral ceremony for an Iranian border guard, who was martyred last week in clashes with bandits, was held in this northeastern province on Saturday.
Ali Dost Zadeh was martyred in clashes with armed bandits on July 3 in Saravan border point in Sistan-Baluchestan Province, southeastern Iran.
Recently, the police commander of Sistan-Baluchestan province said that a terrorist group was dismantled in Saravan city.
A large number of weapons, suicide vests and some explosive booby traps were also discovered, Brigadier General Mohammad Ghanbari said.
In a clash between police commandos and terrorists, one of the terrorists was killed, he said.
