The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) launched a massive retaliatory attack against the Islamist rebels in northern Hama last night.
According to a field source, the Syrian Army launched a large number of artillery shells and missiles towards the rebel bases in northern Hama, hitting these installations over the towns of Al-Lataminah and Zakat.
The entire missile and artillery barrage would last for over four hours last night and end shortly before sunrise on Friday morning.
As shown below by the pro-rebel STEP News Agency, the attack was one of the most powerful displays of force i northern Hama by the Syrian Army in the past few weeks.
This attack by the Syrian Arab Army came shortly after reports of missiles being fired by rebels from Al-Lataminah towards the Tartous Governorate last night.
