Over 35 Saudi-backed fighters reportedly killed, wounded in western Yemen
The Saudi-backed forces in western Yemen suffered a major blow on Saturday, when the Houthis launched a big attack in the Drahami region.
According to the official media wing of the Houthi forces, their troops managed to kill and wound more than 35 Saudi-backed fighters in western Yemen.
The Houthi attack began as an ambush in the Darahami region and progressed into a large assault on the defensive positions of the Saudi-backed fighters.
Following an intense battle, the Houthi forces managed to seize the enemy’s weapons before retreating from the areas they captured on Saturday.
Recently, the Houthi forces have intensified their attacks against the Saudi-backed troops in western Yemen, which is their response to the Arab Coalition’s renewed strikes on the Hodeidah Governorate.
