‘Israeli’ Government to Convene before Weekend to Follow Up Signing Indirect Maritime Agreement with Lebanon: Zionist Media
The Zionist media outlets mentioned that the indirect maritime agreement with Lebanon is imminent, revealing that PM Yair Lapid held a meeting with the senior officials in the occupation entity to update them on the latest developments.
Lapid informed the Zionist officials about the outcomes of his meetings in New York, especially with the US mediator Amos Hochstein, in addition to Hezbollah threats.
According to the Zionist media, the enemy’s government will convene before this weekend to follow up signing the US-sponsored agreement with Lebanon.
Although Lapid tried to promote that extraction gas from Karish field will start regardless of any deal, the Zionist media indicated that all the Israeli officials acknowledge that Hezbollah threats were behind delaying operating Karish rig.
Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah had threatened that the Lebanese Resistance will strike Karish rig if ‘Israel’ starts gas extraction there before the deal that grants Lebanon its maritime rights.
Lebanon expects a written offer from US Energy Envoy Amos Hochstein concerning the demarcation of a maritime border with the Zionist entity by the end of the week, Lebanon’s presidency announced on Monday.
