Syrian pavilion at the International Charity Bazaar in Vienna witnesses distinguished turnout
Vienna, SANA – With the participation of the Syrian Embassy in Vienna and a large number of embassies and international organizations, the 53rd Annual International Charity Bazaar organized by the International Women’s Association under the auspices of the United Nations was inaugurated in the fairgrounds in the Austrian capital on Saturday, Vienna, and its proceeds are allocated for charity and children all over the world.
The Syrian pavilion participating in the exhibition witnessed a large number of attendees, as it included a variety of antiques, traditional handicrafts, textiles, posters, pictures, and books showing the civilizational, cultural, and archaeological features of Syria, as well as some famous Syrian foods and dishes.
The countries participating in this international bazaar, which resumed its activity after a two-year hiatus following the outbreak of the Corona pandemic, display the distinctive products, arts, and folklore of each country, which show its history, culture, and tourist attractions in it, as well as examples of its artistic and social traditions.
