Iran equips drones with Artificial Intelligence: Commander
The Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Naval Force announced that the drones were equipped with artificial intelligence.
Brigadier General Alireza Tangsiri said on Tuesday, “We were able to equip drones with artificial intelligence, the technology improves their range, precision of hitting targets, and radar evasion.”
A conference ‘Marine New Opportunities and Threats’ will begin on Wednesday in Gilan, northern Iran, and General Alireza Tangsiri is its secretary.
He said that the new technologies have been applied in four ears including navigation, drone, missile, and undersurface.
General Tangsiri reported equipping the vessels and drones with artificial intelligence, such that the vessels could navigate long distances without crew, carry out operations, and return.
The ‘Marine New Opportunities and Threats’ conference will be underway for two days.
