US base in NE Syria comes under missile attack
Iraqi Resistance forces have fired missiles at the US military base in Al-Shaddadi in the south of the Al Hasakah Governorate in northeastern Syria.
The military facility, located near the al-Jebsa oil field, was shelled with multiple rocket launchers. During the attack, there were several explosions in the area of the base, TASS reports.
Earlier, the US military base near the Al-Omar oil field in Deir ez-Zor Governorate was attacked with ‘kamikaze’ drones. There was no information about the aftermath of that attack.
On November 30, Iraqi Resistance warned the US in their statement posted on a Telegram channel that they would step up their military operations in Syria and Iraq, as Washington continues to help the Israeli regime, which is killing civilians in the Gaza Strip and southern Lebanon.
Earlier, Fox News reported that the US troops in Iraq and Syria have been attacked 74 times since October 17. The United States has about 900 troops deployed to Syria and 2,500 in Iraq.
