Syrian air defense assets engaged several Israeli missiles in the skies over Damascus, a commanding officer of the Syrian Armed Forces announced.
The army air defenses repelled on Sunday an Israeli missile attack that targeted some points in the surroundings of Damascus.
“Nearly at 23:05 p.m. on Sunday, the Israeli enemy carried out an air aggression from the direction of the occupied Syrian Golan, targeting some points in the vicinity of Damascus” a military source said in a statement to SANA.
The source added that the air defense forces responded to the aggression’s missiles and downed some of them, and the damages were limited to materials.
