Thousands protest in Rabat to demand Morocco cut ties with Israel
Thousands of Moroccans have staged a pro-Palestinian rally in the capital Rabat, demanding an end to the North African country’s ties with Israel amid the occupying regime’s ongoing onslaught against the besieged Gaza Strip.
The demonstrators took to the streets of the capital city on Sunday, as they waved Palestinian flags and held placards reading “resistance till victory”, “stop Moroccan government normalization with Israel” and “free Palestine”.
This is not the first time Moroccans have demonstrated in their thousands to protest Israel’s ferocious military aggression against Gaza.
On December 10, Moroccans took to the streets in Rabat to mount pressure on the government to cut its relations with Israel over the regime’s ongoing genocidal war on Gaza.
The participants also urged a boycott of those brands that support Israel, while condemning the United States’ heavy military and political backing for the regime’s genocide in Gaza.
