In a phone call with Mikdad, Al-Busaidi expresses Oman’s support to Syria
Damascus, SANA- Foreign and Expatriates Minister, Fayssal Mikdad received a phone call from his Omani counterpart,Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al-Busaidi, during which they discussed the latest developments in the region.
Al-Busaidi expressed his country’s continued support for Syria and its respect for its unity, sovereignty and territorial integrity and pointed out the recent US attacks on sites in Syria.
Al-Busaidi underlined the necessity of not interfering in the affairs of the countries of the region and the priority of stopping the Israeli agression on our people in the occupied Palestine and ending its occupation of all Palestinian and Arab lands.
For his part, Mikdad thanked Oman for its stance in support of Syria against the attacks on its territories, the latest of which was the US aerial act of aggression on the Syrian-Iraqi territories aimed at empowering Daesh (ISIS) terrorist organization ,and preventing the strengthening of the brotherly and neighborhood relations between Syria and Iraq.
US occupation forces launched on Saturday a blatant aerial aggression on a number of sites and towns in the eastern region of Syria, near Iraqi borders, leaving many civilian and military martyrs, inuring others and causing huge damage to private and public properties.
