Ismail Haniyeh meets with Iran parliament speaker

Iran’s Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf held a meeting with Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the political bureau of the resistance movement Hamas in Tehran on Thursday.

Ghalibaf received Haniyeh in Tehran Baharestan, the compound of the Iranian parliament on Thursday morning.

Haniyeh arrived in Tehran on Tuesday and was received by Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the Iranian foreign minister.

The senior Hamas official and his accompanying delegation have also already been received by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei on the visit.
