New building of consular section of the Iranian Embassy inaugurated
Damascus, SANA-The new building of consular section of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran was inaugurated Monday in Damascus in the presence of Foreign Minister Fayssal Mikdad and his Iranian counterpart Hussein Amir Abdollahian.
In a press statement, Abdollahian hailed the efforts exerted by the two sides to open the new building.
“We will never allow the terrorist Zionist entity to hinder the efforts of Iranian military advisors who are present in the friendly country of Syria which is an ally of Iran against terrorism,” Abdollahian said.
The Iranian consulate in Damascus came under Israeli missile aggression that left many martyrs and wounded, as the building was totally destroyed.
