Pakistani Senator: Ayatollah Khamenei very knowledgeable about world affairs
A Pakistani senator has hailed the recent speech by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution about Palestine and the late Imam Khomeini.
Speaking to Mehr in an interview, Mushahid Hussain Syed, the Chairman of the Pakistan Senate’s Defense and Defense Production Committee said that, “Ayatollah Khamenei delivered comprehensive and complete speech about Palestine and the world situation, which shows he is very knowledgeable.”
“I am happy that I participated in the ceremony to commemorate Imam Khomeini’s death anniversary. The Leader of the Islamic Revolution gave a very comprehensive speech. Anyone who listened to his speech must have realized that how much he has studied widely about the world’s issues and is aware of what is happening in the think tanks of the world.”
“He stated several issues about Gaza and quoted the statements and analyzed of the arguments of prominent observers in the world without mentioning their names,” the Pakistani senator said.
He further said the Leader of the Islamic Revolution was right to say that “Al-Aqsa Storm was a big event that changed the world. It was the beginning of the destruction of the Israeli regime and it was a clear message to the world. He also mentioned the effects and consequences of Al-Aqsa Storm operation.”
“Ayatollah Khamenei also pointed out that for the first time in history, Christians and followers of other religions demonstrated against Israel,” Mushahid Hussain Syed added.
In response to the question “The Leader of the Revolution wrote a letter to American students recently, what is your take on this?” the senior Pakistani lawmaker said that the letter was really thoughtful and promising.
He added that Leader’s letter brought back the memory of the Late Imam Khomeini’s letter to Mikhail Gorbachev, the last president of the Soviet Union in which he predicted the future of the world and the collapse of Communism.
“Exactly the points mentioned by Imam Khomeini (RA) in this letter happened and when I read Ayatollah Khamenei’s letter to American students, I remembered the letter of late Imam. In his letter, Ayatollah Khamenei honored American students and expressed solidarity with them.”
He further remembered the late president Ebrahim Raeisi who was martyred in the tragic helicopter crash, and his trip to Pakistan before the incident and said that Raeisi’s trip was really fruitful.
In response to a question about the Israeli regime’s war on Gaza Strip he said that the Zionist regime has not achieved any of its goals. He highlighted that it is the United States that decides for the Israeli regime.
“Netanyahu knows that the result of the ceasefire is the end of his government. On the other hand, Israel has failed politically, diplomatically, psychologically, morally and legally in the war. After more than 8 months, Tel Aviv has not been able to achieve its goals in Gaza battle. Moreover, the ceasefire is very important to President Joe Biden. If the war continues, Joe Biden will lose the upcoming election. People inside Biden’s party oppose President Joe Biden because of his support for Israel. Biden will be forced to call off the ceasefire,” Mushahid Hussain Syed concluded.
