Syrian Airlines: Carrying out 97 round-trip flights during the Hajj season
Damascus, SANA-The Ministry of Transport noted that it carried out 97 flights during this year’s Hajj season and transported 11,000 people One-way pilgrimage on the Damascus-Jeddah route and back on the Medina-Damascus route.
The last batch of Syrian pilgrims arrived no Sunday at Damascus International Airport on board Syrian Airlines wings coming from Medina Airport in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Ministry stated in a post on its Facebook page.
For his part, the Director General of Syrian Airlines, Eng. Hatem Kabbas, pointed out to the efforts made by the Syrian Airlines cadres and their demonstration of the spirit of responsibility and patriotism over two months, which is an example of their loyalty to their work, the corporation, and to their country.
Kabbas noted to the efforts made by the Ministries of Endowments and Transport, the Pilgrims Committee, the agent of the Syrian Airlines Corporation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the immigration, passports, tourism and finance staff, and the relevant authorities at the airport to make the 2024 Hajj season a success.
