Venezuelan President Maduro on Nasrallah’s assassination: Global silence from the cowards

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro has denounced the assassination of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, attributing the act to what he described as the "Hitler-like" Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Maduro also criticized global leaders for their "cowardice" in maintaining silence on the matter.

n Israeli military airstrike on Friday targeted the southern suburbs of Beirut, resulting in the assassination of Hezbollah’s esteemed Secretary-General and causing the deaths of numerous civilians.

The Venezuelan president has declared his country’s solidarity with the populations of Gaza and Lebanon, referring to them as victims of what he termed “genocide” and “terrorist assaults” perpetrated by the Israeli government, which he compared to Hitler’s regime.

“Representing the Historical Bloc of the Revolution, I extend my condolences and solidarity to the Lebanese people following the tragic announcement of the assassination of Islamic leader Sayyed Nasrallah.”

During a pro-Palestinian rally in La Guaira on Saturday, President Nicolás Maduro declared, “While cowards remain silent, the voices of the rebellious, revolutionary people will not be silenced.”

The President of Venezuela has urged Muslims, Arabs, and global communities to vocally express their support and solidarity with the Palestinian and Lebanese people.

“Orders for the attack were issued from UN headquarters in New York,” he stated, alluding to Netanyahu’s attendance at the United Nations General Assembly on Friday, during which he sanctioned the lethal strike.

Cuban President: Assassination of Nasrallah Gravely Endangers Global Stability

Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel has denounced the assassination of Nasrallah by what he referred to as the Zionist Israeli regime.

In a recent post on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, the Cuban leader condemned Nasrallah’s assassination, labeling it a cowardly act. He further cautioned that this incident poses a grave threat to regional and global peace and security, attributing full responsibility to Israel, with the United States as an accomplice.

In Lebanon and throughout the region, Nasrallah was hailed as a charismatic leader and astute military strategist, unwaveringly dedicated to resisting Israeli forces and championing the Palestinian cause.

On Saturday, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, condemned the severe assaults by what he termed as the “rabid Zionist dog” on Lebanon. He criticized these actions as indicative of the shortsightedness and poor policies of Israeli authorities. Ayatollah Khamenei urged Muslims worldwide to rally in support of the Lebanese populace and Hezbollah.
