Hamas calls for the urgent removal of the blockade as zionist operations intensify in northern Gaza

In a press conference held in Beirut on Tuesday, Sami Abou Zahri announced that Hamas is open to considering any agreements or proposals aimed at easing the hardships faced by the Palestinian population in Gaza.

Abou Zahri emphasized that prospective agreements should encompass the institution of a lasting ceasefire and the complete withdrawal of occupying forces from the entire region. He stated that it is unreasonable for many foreign countries to take such measures while certain Arab nations continue to uphold their diplomatic ties and normalization efforts with the occupying forces.

In a cautionary statement, he highlighted that these remarks “underscore the perilous implications of this discriminatory policy for regional security and stability,” urging all nations to employ every available measure to halt the ongoing actions of the occupying forces.

A senior Hamas official stated that their resolve remains unshaken, emphasizing that the Palestinian people are committed to remaining on their land, steadfast in upholding their rights and defending their national values and sacred sites, regardless of the sacrifices required.

On October 7, 2023, Israel launched a significant military operation in Gaza following a major offensive by Hamas and associated groups. This escalation comes in response to what they describe as increased acts of aggression by Israel towards the Palestinian population.

According to recent reports, the occupying authorities have so far resulted in the deaths of at least 43,061 Palestinians, the majority of whom are women and children, and have left 101,223 others injured in the blockaded region of Gaza.
