IRGC Chief Hails Hezbollah’s Remarkable Resurgence

The commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps stated that the Zionist regime misjudged in assuming that the elimination of Hezbollah's commanders and leaders would impair its capabilities. He noted that the Lebanese resistance group has experienced a significant and unexpected rejuvenation.

During a session with Iran’s Assembly of Experts on Wednesday, Major General Hossein Salami stated that the dynamics within the region are evolving daily to the advantage of the resistance front.

He stated that the Zionist regime believed that targeting the leadership and command structure of Lebanese Hezbollah would diminish the resistance group’s influence. However, despite suffering significant losses and a series of setbacks, Hezbollah has experienced a remarkable resurgence.

The general stated that Hezbollah is currently maintaining a strong stance against Israeli forces and effectively managing the situation.

General Salami underscored the fragility of the Israeli government, stating that the Al-Aqsa Storm operation in October 2023 demonstrated how quickly a tactical move can lead to a strategic setback for the Zionist regime.

The commander hailed Iran as a formidable global power, asserting that the Islamic Republic has robustly stood its ground against what he described as imperialistic forces.
