Iran Praises Pakistan for Bombing Terrorists

The General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces appreciated Pakistan for its recent military operation against terrorist groups.

In a statement released on Sunday, the General Staff of Iran lauded Pakistan for launching a military operation against terrorists on November 5.

It said the “friendly and brotherly” neighbor has taken action against the terrorist groups that work as the proxies of the US and the Zionist regime and have upset security at the two sides of the Iran-Pakistan common border with their acts of sabotage.

The General Staff of Iran noted that the Pakistani army acted independently on November 5, commanded and carried out an operation against a Takfiri terrorist group on Pakistani soil, and killed a number of terrorists.

The Iranian Armed Forces expressed gratitude to Pakistan for its responsible measure against terrorists, hoping that the implementation of the bilateral security agreements would result in the complete elimination of the terrorist groups and the establishment of calm and security along the common border.

Speaking to reporters after a visit to Islamabad on November 5, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said the two neighbors have agreed to step up joint action against terrorist groups and enhance cooperation in this regard.
