Four Mossad agents linked to terrorist activity killed, seven others apprehended during a military drill in southeastern Iran

A high-ranking officer within Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Ground Force announced that the elite unit has successfully neutralized four militants linked to the Israeli regime and apprehended seven additional suspects. This operation unfolded over the last 48 hours amid a significant counterterrorism exercise in the southeastern province of Sistan and Baluchestan, near the Pakistani border.

General Ahmad Shafaei, spokesperson for the “Martyrs of Security” exercises, announced that an additional five militants surrendered to law enforcement authorities during the specified timeframe.

He stated that the exercises are being conducted with the involvement of elite Saberin units, IRGC Special Forces, commando and electronic warfare teams, in conjunction with volunteer forces and various divisions from provincial law enforcement and intelligence agencies.

The “Martyrs of Security” drill is currently underway in designated areas with the objective of strengthening and promoting sustainable security measures. According to Shafaei, commanders and personnel from the IRGC Ground Force’s Quds Base are fully committed to maintaining their efforts until the exercise’s objectives are completely achieved.

On October 26, a terrorist attack in the Gohar Kuh district of Taftan, located in Iran’s Sistan and Baluchestan province, resulted in the deaths of ten members of the country’s law enforcement forces.

The Jaish al-Adl militant organization has claimed responsibility for the attack, marking one of the most lethal incidents in the province in recent months.

The organization has been responsible for a series of terrorist attacks in Iran, with a significant focus on the Sistan and Baluchestan region.

The group’s strategies involve the kidnapping of border guards and attacking civilians and police stations in the province in an attempt to provoke chaos and disrupt order.

In January, Iran initiated a military operation that targeted the headquarters of a Pakistan-based terrorist group with missile strikes, leading to the destruction of the group’s infrastructure.
