The Iranian ambassador held talks with Afghan officials to address and deliberate on matters of mutual concern
The Iranian Ambassador to Afghanistan, Hassan Kazemi Qomi, engaged in a series of discussions with high-ranking Afghan officials on Tuesday. The meetings focused on addressing significant matters pertaining to bilateral relations and regional stability.
Kazemi Qomi, acting in his capacity as the Iranian President’s special envoy to Afghanistan, held discussions with Abdul Kabir, Afghanistan’s Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs, along with Amir Khan Muttaqi, the Acting Foreign Minister of the country’s interim administration.
The talks addressed a variety of topics, encompassing the repatriation of undocumented Afghan refugees residing in Iran, judicial collaboration, railway linkages between the two countries, border security, and efforts to counter destabilizing activities by external actors.
Both parties emphasized the significance of previous agreements and affirmed their shared dedication to their implementation.
