Iraq’s Kata’ib Hezbollah, an anti-terror organization, has commended the ceasefire agreement reached between Israel and Lebanon. The group emphasized that the truce was only achievable due to the unwavering resolve of the fighters from the Lebanese resistance movement, Hezbollah.
In a statement released on Wednesday, Kata’ib Hezbollah commented on the recent ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon, which officially took effect earlier in the day. This ceasefire brings a temporary halt to almost 14 months of conflict between the two nations.
The statement emphasized that the decision was unequivocally made by Lebanon, asserting that any temporary halt in operations by resistance factions in the region would not undermine the cohesion of the resistance alliance.
The organization stated that additional factions are expected to align with them, bolstering the resistance front against adversaries of Allah, His Messenger, and the faithful.
Kata’ib Hezbollah has accused the United States of being complicit with Israel in committing acts of violence, destruction, and displacement, asserting that the U.S. will eventually be held accountable for these actions. Concurrently, President Joe Biden announced that a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Lebanon has officially been implemented as of Wednesday morning.
The Iraqi anti-terror organization has reiterated its dedication to the Palestinian cause, underscoring its unwavering support for Palestinians in Gaza. The group affirmed that it remains steadfast in its commitment, regardless of the sacrifices that may be necessary.
“We remain resolute despite threats, deceit, or the criminal tactics of our adversaries. It is our duty to support the faithful,” the statement declared.

On Tuesday, the Ansarullah resistance movement of Yemen lauded the resilience of Hezbollah and the Lebanese populace amidst the severe Israeli attacks. The movement expressed confidence in the strategic decisions of the Lebanese resistance group following the establishment of a ceasefire agreement between the two parties.

A spokesperson for Hezbollah stated that the group has significantly advanced its operational efforts, increasing both in frequency and sophistication. This escalation, according to the spokesperson, compelled the Israeli government and its American ally to pursue a ceasefire deal that safeguards Lebanon’s security, sovereignty, and independence.
