Hezbollah reports that on November 18, it targeted residence of high ranking zionist Air Force commander using drones

Lebanon's Hezbollah says it targeted the home of a high-ranking Israeli military official in Tel Aviv last weekend. However, the group alleges that the details of the attack have been heavily censored by Israeli authorities.

Hezbollah has announced that a “squadron of advanced attack drones” targeted the residence of Israeli Air Force Commander Major General Tomer Bar on November 18, according to a statement released by the group.

The Islamic Resistance Operations Room has disclosed that a sensitive military target attacked on November 18, 2024, in Tel Aviv was identified as the residence of the Israeli Air Force Commander, Major General Tomer Bar, according to their statement.

The resistance group stated that a fleet of sophisticated attack drones was deployed, successfully meeting its targets with accuracy. Furthermore, the group claimed that the Israeli military authorities have imposed stringent censorship regarding the incident.

Since the onset of its military operations in the Gaza Strip and southern Lebanon in October 2023, Israel has refrained from revealing the full extent of casualties and damage sustained, according to reports.

On Tuesday, the Israeli newspaper *Yedioth Ahronoth* reported that Hezbollah has caused significant destruction to settlements, military installations, and infrastructure in the northern regions of the occupied territories since October 2023.

A recent report has revealed that an unsettling picture is beginning to take shape, indicating the destruction of approximately 9,000 buildings and damage to more than 7,000 vehicles, primarily attributed to Hezbollah-related incidents. The assessment, based on property tax data sourced from Hebrew media outlets, highlights the extent of the damage incurred.

According to the report, the northern areas, specifically the settlements and cities of Kiryat Shmona, Manara, Shtula, Zarit, Nahariya, and Shlomi, have experienced the most significant damage. It further noted that the full extent of the destruction remains largely unclear and obscured.

In an unprecedented escalation over the past two months, the Israeli military has conducted significant airstrikes on Lebanon, heightening tensions with the Hezbollah resistance movement.

In recent weeks, Israel has conducted intensive aerial operations over Lebanon, leading to the displacement of approximately 1.3 million individuals, accounting for more than 20% of the nation’s population.

According to the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health, Israeli air strikes on Lebanon since early October 2023 have resulted in at least 3,768 fatalities and injuries to 15,699 individuals.

In a significant development, the regime agreed to a ceasefire agreement, proposed jointly by the United States and France, following mounting pressure from the Lebanese resistance movement. The movement had intensified its military actions against the occupied territories, demanding an end to Israel’s operations in Lebanon. This agreement marks a pivotal moment in the ongoing conflict.
