Zionist enemy breaching the ceasefire, Hezbollah remains vigilant, reaffirming its commitment

Israeli forces have reportedly breached the terms of a ceasefire agreement, while the international community remains largely passive.

Sources disclosed to Al Mayadeen’s correspondent that the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, Hezbollah, continues to uphold its commitment to the existing agreement and is actively responding to any breaches as stipulated by the accord.

According to reports from our correspondent, the Resistance is actively monitoring all Israeli infractions in southern Lebanese towns, in strict adherence to the terms of the agreement. Sources indicate that Hezbollah, despite having the capability to retaliate, is maintaining its commitment to uphold the ceasefire provisions.

Al Mayadeen’s correspondent in South Lebanon has reported that Israeli forces breached the ceasefire by advancing towards the eastern edges of the border village of Aitaroun. The forces surrounded a family that had recently returned home but eventually withdrew. Earlier, Israeli military vehicles had moved from the al-Malikiyah site towards the village, escalating tensions in the area.

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) engaged in intensive shelling targeting the area of Bint Jbeil.

In a recent development, an Israeli drone strike targeted a stationary vehicle in the town of Majdal Zoun, resulting in injuries to three individuals, among them a seven-year-old child. Concurrently, Israeli forces launched artillery shells on al-Khiam, accompanied by the sound of machine gun fire.

An explosion has reportedly occurred in the Tibna area, situated between the towns of Teffehta and al-Baysarieh, as reported by Al Mayadeen’s correspondent.

In a recent development, enemy forces conducted a sweeping operation around the towns of Bani Hayyan and Markaba, employing machine gun fire as part of their activities.

According to the National News Agency, Israeli military forces reportedly deployed heavy machine gunfire into the vicinity of Maroun al-Ras last night. The onslaught also extended to multiple neighborhoods within the city of Bint Jbeil, effectively restricting residents from accessing and examining their homes and properties.

Late in the evening, surveillance and unmanned aerial vehicles were reported flying over villages in the western and central regions. Additionally, the peripheries of Qabrikha town and the Wadi al-Slouqi area came under attack by enemy machine gun fire.

The Lebanese Army in the south has reported several breaches by the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) following the initiation of a ceasefire. In an official statement, the army stated that on November 27 and 28, 2024, the Israeli forces infringed upon the agreement multiple times. These violations were carried out through aerial incursions and the targeting of Lebanese territory using various weapons.

In a statement issued by the Elysee Palace, French President Emmanuel Macron on Friday urged an “immediate” cessation of any activities that breach the recently enacted truce between Lebanon and Israel. The ceasefire has been effective since Wednesday.

In discussions held yesterday with Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati and House Speaker Nabih Berri, French President Emmanuel Macron urged comprehensive adherence to the ceasefire agreement. Macron stressed the need for an immediate cessation of any actions that threaten the agreement’s full implementation, as reported by AFP.
