The Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades, the military arm of the Hamas resistance movement, has announced the death of two of its members following an Israeli airstrike targeting a vehicle in the northern region of the occupied West Bank.

A Palestinian teenager has died after sustaining gunshot wounds in an incident near Jerusalem, local sources report. In a separate incident, a Palestinian teenager has died from gunshot wounds received during an Israeli military operation in a largely Palestinian neighborhood in East Jerusalem.

Local authorities have reported the death of 17-year-old Omar Hussam Yaqoub Shuwaiki. He sustained critical injuries after Israeli forces discharged live ammunition in the Silwan neighborhood, located on the southeastern outskirts of the Old City of al-Quds, on Tuesday.

According to officials, Israeli police forces have taken an individual into custody despite his being in critical condition.

According to eyewitness reports, individuals swiftly arrived at the scene following the sound of three gunshots in the Ein al-Luza area. Observers noted that Israeli forces placed a silver blanket over the injured Palestinian teenager before taking him into custody.

Israeli authorities subsequently called in Shuwaiki’s father for interrogation, ultimately notifying him of his son’s death.

**Israeli Forces Apprehend 21 Palestinians in West Bank Operations**

In a series of operations across the West Bank, Israeli forces have detained 21 Palestinians. The arrests are reportedly part of ongoing efforts to address security concerns in the region. Since October 7 of last year, Israel has intensified its military operations against Palestinians throughout the West Bank, following the initiation of a large-scale offensive in the Gaza Strip.
