Al-Houthi: US-israel seeking to fragment the Middle East in order to broaden their influence

Yemeni Ansar Allah leader, Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, has emphasized that the Israeli occupation, in conjunction with the United States, seeks to partition the region in order to further their strategic objectives.

On Thursday, Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, leader of Yemen’s Ansar Allah, emphasized the pivotal role Syria plays in countering Israeli objectives, subsequent to the downfall of the Assad regime post-uprising that engulfed the nation.

Sayyed al-Houthi has urged for unified support towards Syria and its citizens, denouncing continuous Israeli hostilities and its opportunistic tactics to enhance its regional dominance amidst the conflict.

He cited recent remarks from Israeli leaders, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who characterized the potential collapse of the Syrian regime as a chance for Israel to redefine its strategic borders. Sayyed al-Houthi cautioned that the Israeli occupation is actively seeking to dismantle existing agreements, such as the disengagement treaties, and leverage the current situation to extend its influence.

An official has stated that Israel considers the current developments in Syria as an opportunity to establish new dynamics within the country and across the broader region. He further suggests that the Zionist initiative aims to destabilize the Middle East by breaking nations into smaller, more susceptible units.

The Yemeni leader has reiterated his nation’s steadfast backing of Syria in the face of what he described as “Israeli-Zionist aggression.” He underscored the unity among Resistance movements throughout the Arab and Islamic regions. Furthermore, he connected the occupation’s activities in Syria to a broader agenda, calling it a strategic effort to implement a “new Middle East” plan aimed at destabilizing countries and bolstering Israeli hegemony.

In a recent address, Sayyed al-Houthi condemned the exploitation of sectarian divisions as part of a strategic, two-phased initiative allegedly designed to advance US-Israeli interests. He criticized this approach as harmful to regional cohesion and emphasized the need for increased solidarity among nations to effectively counter such strategies.

Sayyed al-Houthi has outlined a concerning strategy in two phases that he attributes to Israeli ambitions in the region. The initial phase reportedly focuses on normalizing relations with Israel while working to resolve the Palestinian issue in a manner advantageous to the Israeli regime. The subsequent phase aims to break apart large nations into smaller states, thereby enhancing Israeli influence. Al-Houthi cautioned that this plan could potentially broaden the occupation’s territorial reach, extending to parts of the Levant, Egypt, Iraq, and Saudi Arabia, effectively fragmenting Arab states.

The leader of Ansar Allah delivered a speech highlighting Yemen’s active participation in backing the Palestinian cause, which encompasses collaborative military operations between Yemeni and Iraqi resistance forces aimed at Israeli assets. He encouraged widespread demonstrations across Yemen to show solidarity with Palestine, Syria, and Lebanon, and called for unwavering resistance against Israeli and US actions.

Sayyed Al-Houthi highlighted the comprehensive training programs undertaken by hundreds of thousands of Yemenis, aiming to bolster their combat proficiency and psychological resilience. He affirmed their readiness to confront any forces that endanger Yemen’s sovereignty.

“He announced that their personnel have been trained to develop combat skills and to be psychologically, culturally, and spiritually ready for conflict. He emphasized that their position is firmly anchored in faith and reliance on God.”
