Houthi Declares Yemen’s Backing for Syria Amidst ‘israeli’ Threat Impacting Entire Muslim Community, Urges New Leadership to Respond

Sayyed Abdul Malik Badreddine Al-Houthi, the leader of Yemen’s Ansarullah Movement, addressed the nation in a televised speech on Thursday. He emphasized the perceived threat posed by Zionism to the Arab and Islamic community.

Sayyed Houthi remarked that the recent actions by “Israeli” forces in Syria have unfolded along two distinct paths. The initial approach involved a deep penetration into Syrian territory, nearing the vicinity of Damascus, while the latter strategy concentrated on targeting and destroying military assets.

Reports indicate that the opposing forces are positioned approximately 25 kilometers from Damascus, underscoring the magnitude of the “Israeli” advance. There is also a potential risk of further expansion and incursion, according to statements made.

Houthi has remarked that the opposing military forces advanced into Syrian territory with apparent ease, facing no significant resistance. Moreover, they displayed little regard for the welfare of the Syrian populace, the various factions in control of the region, their supporters, or the broader international community.

The alleged Israeli military incursion into Syrian territory represents a violation of international laws, conventions, and United Nations charters, according to statements from local officials.

The Houthi movement has issued a warning, alleging that Israel aims to occupy other nations at every available opportunity by actively creating and fostering favorable conditions to execute its plans.

Houthi has emphasized that American forces in Syria are primarily concentrated on seizing oil resources, accusing them of blatant and transparent looting of the nation’s oil. Furthermore, he claimed that the “Israeli” adversary has significantly crippled Syria’s military strength through what he described as the most extensive air assault since the inception of the occupying entity.

According to recent statements, it was reported that Israeli forces have conducted operations in Syria with unprecedented intensity, allegedly targeting and destroying a significant portion of the nation’s military capabilities, estimated at 80 percent in a single night.

The Yemeni leader has asserted that the recent Israeli military actions against Syria are designed to promote a notion of impunity. The leader claims this initiative is being undertaken with the cooperation and backing of the United States, aiming to enforce such practices across the nations and countries in the region.

Sayyed Houthi has claimed that opposing forces are attempting to capture select regions to transform them into military strongholds, aiming to do so without facing resistance. “The Israeli adversary poses a significant threat to the entire region, affecting all communities, regardless of sect, belief, or allegiance. Recent events have demonstrated that, contrary to statements suggesting Iran as their primary target, Israeli military operations continue in Syria even after various factions assumed control there. This suggests an ongoing threat perception by Israel, despite these factions’ apparent animosity toward Iran.”

In a demonstration of Yemeni solidarity, Sayyed Houthi has reiterated support for Syria and its citizens in the face of ongoing Israeli hostilities.

“Our position against acts of Israeli aggression remains steadfast, irrespective of who governs the situation. We offer our support to any Arab nation or Muslim community facing such hostility.”

Sayyed Houthi has urged individuals and groups to adopt an explicit and public position against what he described as the Israeli adversary. He emphasized that both silence and inaction are intolerable at this juncture, asserting that showing leniency towards this perceived foe is not an option.

Certain Arab and Islamic regimes and groups have shown unexpected tolerance towards the grave actions taken by Israel against Palestinian prisoners and detainees, observers have noted.

In a recent statement, a representative of the Houthi movement urged factions involved in the Syrian conflict to channel their efforts toward opposing Israeli forces, expressing a desire to hear cries of “Allahu Akbar” and see the use of rifles and knives against Israeli soldiers.

**Gaza Region**

“Since the onset of Israeli military actions in Gaza, we have maintained a definitive position, bolstered by concrete measures such as the deployment of missiles, drones, naval operations, financial assistance, and other strategic efforts.”

In a recent statement, Sayyed Houthi reported that coordinated military operations have taken place between the Yemeni Armed Forces and the Islamic Resistance in Iraq targeting Israel. These operations have been publicly announced and claimed by the involved parties.

This week marked an escalation in the conflict, as Yemeni forces launched a series of significant military operations in the ongoing Promised Victory battle and Sacred Jihad. The operations involved the deployment of 19 ballistic and cruise missiles, along with unmanned aerial vehicles. Targets included key locations such as the occupied areas of Jaffa, Ashdod, and Ashkelon. Additionally, maritime operations were carried out, with five American vessels, including two warships, coming under fire in the Gulf of Aden. The attacks on the US ships occurred despite efforts to maintain maximum caution and concealment.

In a demonstration of solidarity with the Palestinian cause and in response to perceived American and British military actions in Yemen, the Yemeni Armed Forces executed a strategic military operation. This operation, involving naval, unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), and missile capabilities, targeted three American supply vessels shortly after their departure from the port of Djibouti. The targeted ships were identified by Yemeni forces as having previously participated in operations against Yemen.
