Ansarullah: Heightened actions by US against Yemen to lead to severe consequences
A senior figure within Yemen's Ansarullah resistance group has issued a stern warning to the United States regarding any increase in hostilities in the country. The official cautioned that such actions by Washington could lead to significant repercussions, metaphorically describing it as unlocking the "gates of hell" upon itself.
Abdulrahman al-Ahnoumi, the Acting Director of the Yemeni General Corporation for Radio and Television, has alleged via his platform on X that the United States Embassy in Aden is mobilizing mercenaries to launch military actions against Yemen. He claims this move is intended to hinder support operations directed towards aiding Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
He warned that any increase in tensions could significantly jeopardize the safety of US military personnel, threaten oil infrastructure, and endanger the interests of the United States and its allies in the West Asia region.
Ahnoumi declared that Yemen is prepared to strike American interests and military bases regardless of their location, including those situated in Africa and the Persian Gulf. He emphasized that comprehensive preparations have been undertaken to facilitate such actions.
A senior official from Ansarullah has warned that, much like previous incidents during which U.S. ships and vessels became “legitimate targets” for the Yemeni Armed Forces in response to American aggression towards Yemen, any escalation in tensions could lead to significant repercussions for the United States.
In a coordinated military operation, American and British fighter jets executed a joint airstrike targeting specific locations in Yemen’s northern province of Hajjah. This development occurs amid Yemen’s continued maritime activities targeting vessels associated with Israel in the Red Sea.
According to a report from Yemen’s al-Masirah television network, airstrikes targeted the Buhais area in the Midi district of the province on Monday morning.
The report did not disclose any information about possible casualties or damages.
U.S. and British military aircraft conducted airstrikes on several sites in the At Tuhayta district, a key area within Yemen’s strategically significant Hudaydah province. Information regarding any casualties or damage resulting from these operations has not yet been released.
In a show of solidarity, the people of Yemen have publicly expressed their support for Palestine amid the ongoing conflict with Israel. This declaration comes in response to Israel’s launch of a severe military offensive in Gaza, initiated on October 7, 2023. The offensive followed an operation by Palestinian resistance groups, known as Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, against Israeli forces.
The Yemeni Armed Forces announced their commitment to continue military attacks until Israel concludes its ground and air operations in Gaza.
According to recent reports, Israeli military operations in Gaza have resulted in the deaths of at least 43,603 Palestinians, a majority of whom are women and children, with an additional 102,929 individuals reportedly injured.
