Terror regime’s fighter jets launch lethal strikes targeting ‘civilian facilities’ throughout Yemen
Zionist regime's fighter jets have launched new airstrikes targeting the Yemeni capital, Sana’a, as well as the key western province of Hudaydah, resulting in multiple casualties, including both fatalities and injuries.
Yemen’s al-Masirah television network announced on Thursday that recent airstrikes have struck the Haziz and Dhahban power plants, situated near the nation’s capital. Additionally, the Hudaydah port and the Ras Isa oil installation reportedly came under attack.
Reports indicate that nine civilians lost their lives and three others sustained injuries in the recent attacks.
According to the report, civil defense teams successfully extinguished fires at the Dhahban power station, while efforts to control blazes at Haziz are ongoing.
In a recent announcement, the Israeli military confirmed that its fighter jets conducted airstrikes in Yemen. This action follows a series of missile and drone attacks targeting the occupied territories.
The report further asserted that the sites targeted had been utilized by Yemeni forces for conducting military operations.
‘US-Israeli Airstrikes on Civilian Infrastructure Highlight Allegations of Western Double Standards’
In response to recent hostilities, Mohammed Al-Bukhaiti, a member of the political bureau of Yemen’s Ansarullah resistance movement, condemned the “US-Israeli airstrikes on civilian infrastructure” in Yemen. He asserted that these actions expose the underlying duplicity of Western powers and undermine their professed humanitarian values.
On Thursday morning, Al-Bukhaiti announced via his X account that the military operations conducted by Yemeni Armed Forces in support of Gaza are set to persist.
He asserted that they would respond to any escalation in kind until the ongoing acts in Gaza cease and access to food, medicine, and fuel for its residents is permitted.
In a significant development, Israeli forces launched attacks mere hours following an announcement from the military that it had successfully intercepted a missile originating from Yemen, preventing it from entering the occupied territories.
A military operation set off rocket sirens throughout Tel Aviv and central regions of the occupied territories, prompting over one million residents to seek shelter, according to reports from Israeli media.
After the interception, debris fell in the Tel Aviv region, causing damage to a school and multiple vehicles.
In response to Israel’s military actions in the Gaza Strip, Yemeni forces have launched operations expressing solidarity with the Palestinian population.
According to reports, targets across the occupied territories have been struck. Additionally, attacks have been launched against Israeli ships or vessels navigating to or from Israeli ports in the southern Red Sea, the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, the Gulf of Aden, and even extending into the Arabian Sea.
The Yemeni Armed Forces have declared their commitment to persist in operations against Israel until the regime ceases its aggressive military actions in Gaza.
