Yemeni forces launch strikes on key military installations in occupied Tel Aviv

In an official statement released on Thursday, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, spokesperson for the Yemeni armed forces, announced that a military operation had been conducted targeting sensitive military sites in Tel Aviv.

Saree asserted that Israel’s aggressive actions will not dissuade Yemen from fulfilling its obligations in backing the Palestinian cause.

On Thursday, Israeli forces launched a large-scale airstrike targeting Yemeni cities, impacting civilian infrastructure in the economically disadvantaged nation.

In a show of solidarity, the people of Yemen have voiced their unequivocal support for Palestine amidst the ongoing conflict with Israel. This announcement comes in the wake of Israel’s intensive military operations in Gaza, which began on October 7. The escalation followed a surprise offensive by Palestinian resistance factions in Gaza, named Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, targeting Israeli forces.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have declared their intent to continue their assaults until the persistent Israeli ground and air operations in Gaza—resulting in the deaths of at least 27,948 individuals and injuries to 67,459 more—are halted.

In December, the United States and the United Kingdom announced the formation of a military coalition aimed at targeting Yemen, with the objective of supporting Israel.
