Hamas asks UN observers to monitor the situation in hospitals across Gaza

The Hamas Movement has urged the deployment of United Nations observers to the remaining hospitals in Gaza to counteract Israel’s assertions that these facilities are being utilized for military activities.

In a statement released on Saturday, Hamas accused the Israeli military of deliberately targeting and devastating medical facilities, citing the recent burning and bombing of the Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza. The group criticized the United Nations and the international community for what it described as a failure to halt actions they characterize as a campaign of extermination and ethnic cleansing against the Palestinian population.

Hamas has called on the United Nations and pertinent international bodies to promptly step in to safeguard the surviving hospitals and medical facilities in northern Gaza, emphasizing the urgent need for supplies and support.
