Zionist regime initiated fresh airstrikes targeting Syrian defense installations in the vicinity of Aleppo

The zionist government has conducted new airstrikes in Syria, focusing on strategic locations within the northern province of Aleppo.

Syria’s state media has reported that multiple Israeli airstrikes targeted defense installations and scientific research centers in the vicinity of al-Safira, a suburb southeast of Aleppo.

Local residents have reported significant explosions in the vicinity, leading to extensive flames and considerable material damage.

At this time, there are no reports of casualties following the incidents. Furthermore, additional airstrikes have been reported in southern Syria, specifically near Quneitra, an area that has seen incursions by Israeli forces.

The Syrian regime has intensified its offensive, launching frequent attacks on various regions across the country following the ousting of the former government by militant forces.

The recent strikes carried out by the regime have predominantly targeted military installations in Syria, focusing particularly on weapons and ammunition storage facilities. Analysts suggest that these actions are intended to systematically erode the nation’s defensive potential.

In a rapid and unexpected offensive, militants under the leadership of Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) seized control of Damascus on December 8, proclaiming the termination of President Bashar al-Assad’s regime. This swift operation, initiated from their base in northwestern Syria, saw the forces advance to the capital in under two weeks.

The leadership of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham has consistently asserted their commitment to upholding the rights of all religious and sectarian groups within Syria.

The situation remains highly volatile and precarious, as the threat of additional clashes looms due to escalating sectarian tensions. This unrest persists amid the prevailing political instability and mounting pressures faced by minority groups.
