The head of Yemen's Ansarullah resistance movement has lauded the efforts of the late Iranian anti-terror figure, Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani, recognizing his distinct contributions to aiding the Palestinian populace and their resistance efforts.
In a televised address on Thursday evening, Adul-Malik al-Houthi delivered a speech as tens of thousands of Iranians gathered in the southeastern province of Kerman to honor the revered commander.
The United States identified Major General Qassem Soleimani as a major impediment to the effectiveness of several of its strategic operations.
The leader of Ansarullah stated that Martyr Haj Qassem Soleimani and his Iraqi associate, Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, played pivotal and significant roles in countering Israeli and American plots.
The Yemeni leader discussed the latest developments occurring in the West Asia region.
He condemned the Israeli assault on Kamal Adwan Hospital, the sole operational medical facility in the northern Gaza Strip, labeling it a brazen act and a reprehensible crime.
In addition to the ongoing violence, concerns are rising over allegations that shortages of food and other essential supplies are being used as a tactic that could lead to severe humanitarian impacts in Gaza. Displaced populations in the region are facing increasing hardships as they grapple with dropping temperatures and inclement weather conditions.
The Houthi group has reported that critical shortages of clothing and heating resources for displaced families have led to the tragic deaths of numerous children, including newborns, due to the severe cold.

The Houthi movement has criticized the Palestinian Authority for its security operations in the West Bank, asserting that these initiatives coincide with the continued Israeli military actions in the occupied region.
The official stated that the authority’s aspirations for achieving peace with Israel through collaboration and negotiation are a significant misconception, given that the regime has explicitly voiced its opposition to the formation of a Palestinian state.
The Ansarullah leader stated that for many decades, the Palestinian population has endured the occupation of their territory and the deprivation of their freedom and independence. He emphasized that despite numerous United Nations Security Council sessions, there have been no effective results or benefits regarding the rights of the Palestinian people.
He reported that more than 50 Security Council meetings have been convened amid the ongoing conflict involving Israel in Gaza, asserting that these sessions have yielded no tangible outcomes. He attributed the lack of progress to the United States’ prominent role in blocking any constructive proposals.
The Houthi movement has emphasized that the United States is persistently hindering efforts to pass a resolution advocating for a ceasefire and the urgent delivery of crucial services and humanitarian assistance to Palestinians in Gaza.
Addressing the continuing Israeli military actions against Lebanon, he asserted that these aggressive offensives highlight the critical need for resistance as a means of opposition.
The Yemeni leader has accused Israel of persisting with aerial assaults in Syria, claiming these attacks primarily affect civilians. He further alleged that the Israeli regime seeks to disarm the Syrian population, undermine national dignity, and limit their freedom of movement.
Houthi emphasized that Palestinian resilience is the appropriate response to what he described as Israeli arrogance, aligning with religious, humanitarian, and legal viewpoints.
