Iranian official has announced plans to launch two satellites in mid-June
Hassan Salariyeh, the Head of the Iranian Space Agency, has announced that Iran plans to launch two new satellites into orbit by mid-June 2025.
In a statement made in Tehran on Monday, Salariyeh announced that the two satellites scheduled for launch have been designated as Zafar 2 and Paya.
He reported that the launches, initially scheduled for January, have been postponed.
According to reports, Iran has scheduled the launch of two satellites in mid-June 2025.
Iran is set to reveal several new projects during the upcoming 10-day Fajr celebrations, commemorating the anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution’s victory, according to an official statement.
Earlier, it was announced that the Pars 3 satellite is presently under construction, boasting an imaging precision of around two meters.
The “Nahid 1” and “Nahid 2” satellites, which had their flight prototypes unveiled last year, are set for imminent launch. These satellites are equipped to function with Q-bandwidth capabilities.
